Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Connectivity Partnership Manager to act as the critical bridge between Trip.com Group and Short-term rental technology provider, including Channel Managers (CM), Property Management Systems (PMS).
Unlike traditional support functions, this role is designed as a commercial growth engine. The candidate will be responsible for aggressive supply acquisition, scaling our vacation rental (VR) portfolio, and leveraging our technical integrations as a competitive sales tool. The candidate will manage the "pipes"
that allow properties to connect to our platform, ensuring high-quality, scalable growth.
-
Key Responsibilities
Supply Acquisition & Portfolio Scaling: Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with Channel Managers and PMS providers to drive new property supply (ACQ) across multiple countries.
Commercial Growth : Act as the Account Manager for technology partners. Drive feature adoption and ensure our connectivity solutions outperform industry benchmarks.
Connectivity Quality Management : Own the technical health of your assigned partners. Monitor and reduce error rates, latency, and API-related service defects to prevent overbookings and operational issues.
Onboarding & Certification : Manage the end-to-end integration lifecycle, reducing the time from "signing" to "live and certified."
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work daily with Product, Engineering, Local Market Managers, and Technical Support to relay feedback, resolve API bugs, and align on product strategy.
-
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Success in this role will be measured by:
Property Count (Supply Growth): Number of new hotels/VRs connected via your managed partners.
Feature Adoption Rate: Percentage of partners implementing new tools (e.g., V3 to V4 API, Content API, Contract API).
Connectivity Quality: Error Rate (target: <1%), SSDR, ALR, and Content Score improvements.
GMV: Total booking value flowing through your assigned tech partners.
Onboarding Efficiency: Reduction in days-to-live (target: 10 days → 3 days).
Operational Cost Reduction: Decrease in Service Defect (Tech Error) tickets and CM IQ tickets.
-
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) in Partnership Management, Business Development, or Account Management within the travel tech ecosystem (PMS, Channel Managers, OTAs).
Commercial Mindset: Demonstrated ability to use connectivity as a sales lever. Experience with incentive programs and high-impact supply acquisition is a plus.
Technical Acumen: Comfortable discussing API health, error rates, and technical specifications with engineering teams and external partners. You do not need to code, but you must understand the "plumbing."
Strategic Thinking: Ability to manage a portfolio of partners, segmenting between "high-touch" strategic accounts and scalable long-tail providers.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills; ability to translate technical details into commercial value propositions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Hospitality, or related field.
