Algorithm Engineer Intern for AI Innovation

岗位职责

We are seeking highly self-motivated students to join our team as long-term research interns. In this role, you will conduct fundamental research on agentic and multimodal reasoning, with no business-driven constraints. The research scope includes, but is not limited to, data synthesis, novel reinforcement learning paradigms, agentic system frameworks, and next-generation architectures of large language and vision–language models (LMs/VLMs) for the emerging era of agentic AI. You will work closely with Wei Wu, as well as a group of outstanding research interns from Peking University and the Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence, within a highly open and research-driven environment. This position is ideal for candidates who are deeply passionate about multimodal and agentic AI, and who aspire to maximize their research impact within the broader AI community.

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree; PhD candidates are highly preferred • Background in computer science, artificial intelligence, or related disciplines (e.g., mathematics) • Strong proficiency in Python for implementing and validating research ideas • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a research-driven environment • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take full ownership of research projects

Preferred Qualifications • Publications in leading AI conferences or demonstrated impact through high-quality open-source projects • Prior experience with LLM pre/post-training, or reinforcement learning projects.
